Doris Fraser lives surrounded by the natural beauty of Kitimat, British Columbia. She has enjoyed 11 years with Haisla Nation Council, the last 3 years filing the role of the Finance Manager. She joined the organization after working for BC Ferries.
She has a business administration diploma and comes credentialed as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). She has a combined 28 years experience working in the finance field.
She is a volunteer member of the local CPA chapter, and is a member of the Aboriginal Financial Officers Association of B.C. (AFOA BC).
Doris was born in the big city of Toronto but was raised in Kitimat, and also spent 12 years living in Victoria. She loves spending time with her two boys and she nourishes her soul through music and the beauty of nature. She is looking forward to being a part of the NKDF board.
