Becoming a Board Member

Nechako-Kitamaat Development Fund Society (NKDF) is recruiting a volunteer who resides within Fraser Lake or the nearby surrounding communities to serve on the Board of Directors for an initial one-year term (January 1,2025-December 31, 2025) with an option for re-appointment. 

There is currently 1 vacancy on the Board. The Board is seeking an individual with experience in one or more of the following:

  • Economic development
  • Governance (Visionary Thinking)
  • Communications (Public Relations)
  • Must be a resident of Fraser Lake or the nearby surrounding communities. 

Board members are required to attend a minimum of four meetings annually, to be held in various communities across the investment area. Directors are responsible to direct the policies and operations of the Society, including reviewing applications and deciding which projects to fund.
