Description: The Club is expanding the curling facility to year-round use while increasing energy efficiency and decreasing carbon emissions. Year-round use of the facility is hoped to raise the revenue necessary for the Curling Club to continue operating while also providing a valuable community use space from March to September. Project activities include: refrigeration plant replacement - 3-sheet curling rink, removal and replacement of furnace and heaters, removal and replacement of wall insulation, and replacement of cooling system pipes and headers, and replacing sand floor with cement.
