Description: In this endeavour to set up hot-beds and greenhouses at each Band's location, Nee Tahi Buhn Band represents itself, Skin Tyee Nation, and Cheslatta Carrier Nation. The project aspires to grow and supply the three First Nation communities on the south side of Francois Lake with locally grown vegetables and fruits. On the capacity building side, they plan to teach skills such as meal preparation, canning and storing, and eating healthy foods. A part of the project includes education in nutrition with the support of health professionals from Carrier Sekani Family Services and the Southside Wellness Centre.
