Description: The Southside community hosted a four-day event during late July 2005, attracting a large number of visitors and participants to the area. The Homesteader's Centennial event was the celebration of 100 years of non-aboriginal settlements on the Southside, while attracting visitors to the area and raising overall awareness about the Southside and what it has to offer. Funding partners for this project include the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako and Southside Economic Development Association (SEDA).
