Description: Chinook Emergency Response Society and Cheslatta Carrier Nation work together to maintain the 9 Emergency Response Trailers owned b Cheslatta. These trailers benefit the three First Nations in the region as well as residents on the South and North side of Francois Lake. The equipment located in the trailers help volunteer community members respond to fires in the region. Through this project, CERS plans to purchase safety and fire fighting equipment. This new equipment would be included in the trailers and will be used to replace broken equipment and improve the initial attack capabilities of community members.
