Description: This is an innovative project that sprang from the applicant's participation in a social enterprise workshop in Vancouver in September. They brought the lessons learned there into the northern service area, by means of a symposium and a 5-day workshop for the 12 most successful participants in the symposium. The goal of the symposium was to lead to a 'co-operative business venture' operated by Aboriginal youth (ages 19 to 29).
